These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Dashel, a daily browser-based game available at playdashel.com, operated by The Dashing Peach, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or playing Dashel, you agree to these Terms.

1. The game

Dashel is a free, browser-based daily word game. A new puzzle is published every day at midnight Eastern Time. No account or registration is required to play.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Dashel. By accessing or playing Dashel, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. If we discover that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to terminate their access immediately.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use Dashel only for its intended purpose. You agree not to:

Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or circumvent the game's scoring or streak systems
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to submit answers or interact with the game
Attempt to access, query, or interfere with our database or backend infrastructure
Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the game's code or content for commercial use without our written permission
Use the game in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

4. Intellectual property

All content on playdashel.com — including the Dashel name, logo, game design, category content, scoring system, and visual design — is owned by The Dashing Peach, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may share your game results on social media using the built-in share feature. All other uses require our prior written consent.

5. No warranties

Dashel is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the game will be available at all times or that streak data stored in localStorage will be preserved indefinitely. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the game at any time without notice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Dashing Peach, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Dashel. Our total liability shall not exceed zero dollars, as Dashel is provided free of charge.

7. Privacy

Your use of Dashel is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Dashel after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
